Driver Hire Huddersfield are on the lookout for 7.5t Drivers based here in Kirklees area – we are seeking 7.5t LGV Drivers Category C1 – to join us working alongside clients based throughout the Kirklees areas of Huddersfield, Brighouse, Holmfirth and Meltham. These roles are for temporary and ad-hoc bookings assisting Clients covering holiday and sickness and increase in business demands, the candidates must possess both a DQC CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.

We work with a wide variety of prestigious clients, so positions may include but are not limited to:

• Perform checks on the vehicle and the load before setting off.

• Ensure that the vehicle and it’s cargo get to their destination safely.

• Liaise with customers at the point of delivery.

• Some nights out may be required, although if this is an issue day work can be offered.

• Be in possession of a Cat C1 (7.5T) UK driving licence

• Have a current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Be able to demonstrate a Right to Work in the UK

• Have no more than 6 points on your driving licence for minor traffic offences.

These roles may also include non-driving duties such as loading and unloading the vehicle; therefore candidates should be comfortable with doing some lifting and a good demonstration of safe loading.

This position would be perfect for someone who has a flexible approach to work and enjoys variety.
