Circet UK is looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support our commercial team in managing contracts, costs, and supplier accounts for our telecoms and infrastructure projects. This role offers excellent development opportunities, full training, and exposure to a wide range of commercial activities across our Altnet contracts.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist with the preparation of AFPs for Altnet contracts
  • Support cost control processes, ensuring subcontractor and direct labour claims are correct and allocated appropriately
  • Assist with the preparation of final accounts and retentions
  • Support interim supplier account reconciliation and liaise with subcontractors on interim accounts
  • Act as an operational link to help progress work on site
  • Assist with monitoring, control, preparation, and agreement of EWs and CEs on Altnet contracts
  • Provide general commercial support and support other team members as required


What You'll Need

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good relationship-building skills and effective communication, including telephone manner
  • Basic understanding of engineering and technology - desirable but not required
  • Enthusiasm to learn and develop in a commercial / QS environment

Knowledge of QS role is not required as full training will be provided.
