We are currently recruiting for highly motivated and ambitious individuals to join us as Audit Seniors for our Gatwick office.



The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated auditor to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients, leading assignments from planning through to completion and ensuring every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll prepare accounts and corporate tax computations, support on ad hoc client projects, and play a key role in developing strong, lasting client relationships.

As a trusted point of contact during fieldwork, you’ll maintain proactive communication throughout the year, collaborating closely with managers and partners to ensure compliance with all technical standards. You’ll also oversee and review the work of trainees and Semi-Seniors, providing hands-on coaching, constructive feedback, and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery to time, budget, and quality standards.
  • Lead on preparation of accounts and corporate tax computations and support on ad hoc assignments for new and existing clients.
  • Prepare audit work, delegate tasks appropriately, and review work completed by trainees and Semi-Seniors.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients during fieldwork, maintaining proactive and professional communication throughout the year
  • Collaborate closely with managers and partners to ensure compliance with technical standards, ensuring prompt escalation in relation to timescales and deliverables of assignments
  • Proactively supervising, coaching, and developing trainees, and providing ongoing feedback and guidance to help develop skills and experience of the team. 




About You

You’ll be an ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearing completion) professional with solid experience in audit. You have hands-on expertise leading audits from planning through to completion, with a strong grasp of audit, accounting, and compliance standards.

Experience managing on-site audit teams and building direct client relationships is desirable, along with proven experience of communicating clearly and work seamlessly with colleagues at all levels.


Skills & Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or nearing completion of your qualification
  • Proven experience of leading audits from planning through to completion
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit, accounting and compliance requirements
  • Proficient IT skills including use of audit software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to delegate, supervise and mentor junior staff by leading from the front 
  • Experience in direct contact with clients and management of onsite audit teams preferable
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines, ensuring budgets are adhered to throughout and work is delivered to a high standard
