Your Role

As a Billing Paralegal you will be:

Assisting with the preparation of Annual OPG reports for all our Professional Deputyship matters. This involves exporting the bank statements from the Lloyds online bank system and entering these transactions into a template excel spreadsheet. Also reviewing the 3e client account to check for transactions passing through that account. Also assisting with the preparation of Lay Deputy reports for external deputies.


Reconciling the transactions passing through the accounts during the reporting period. This involves categorising the credits/debits into the relevant categories provided by the OPG, using the payments app to obtain further information regarding payments made and adding the descriptions to the excel spreadsheet.
Summarising the above information in a pivot table and then copying the data over into the OPG website.
Summarising the current costs information on the OPG site and providing costs information to the Fee Earner to assist them in the preparation of their costs estimate for the upcoming year.
Liaising with the OPG to resolve queries following the submission of the annual OPG reports.
Assisting in all aspects of housekeeping
Assisting the team in hitting financial targets

Preparing documents and files for billing bundles to forward onto the Court

About You
Working knowledge of Excel
A friendly, enthusiastic, and can-do approach
Be a role model and demonstrate our values consistently
Ideally Paralegal experience however this is not essential.
