About the Role


Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for consistent, rewarding work with a respected local business?

We’re recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to deliver palletised goods throughout the PR, FY, and BB postcode areas. This role offers regular hours, a great working environment, and the backing of Driver Hire Blackburn – one of Lancashire’s most trusted transport recruitment specialists.


You’ll be completing local and regional deliveries of palletised goods, using a curtain-sided Class 2 vehicle. Most work is straightforward multi-drop delivery (around 20 drops per day) with minimal handball.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 curtain-sider vehicle for daily deliveries and collections.


Carry out 20 drops per day across local postcode areas (PR, FY & BB).
Secure and handle loads safely, ensuring goods arrive in perfect condition.
Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
Maintain your vehicle’s cleanliness, safety checks, and roadworthiness.

Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.


Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous pallet delivery or multi-drop experience is preferred.
Good local knowledge of PR, FY & BB postcode areas.
Physically fit and capable of safe manual handling.
Professional, reliable, and customer-focused.
