What You Will Be Doing:

 
Maintain and continue to grow Mintel’s industry-leading client satisfaction, help increase retention rates, support customized projects, and offer insights support for BD:
With Mintel clients:
1) Show the value of Mintel’s data and insights based on syndicated content.
• Ensure that clients are maximizing their Mintel insights through carrying out training/proactive sharing and bringing your ideas on how we can improve!
• Respond to client briefs and prepare analyses to bring data to life using pre-published syndicated content.
• Deliver insightful pieces based on Mintel syndicated data and insight to ensure the client can get the ROI statement from Mintel subscription.
• Proactively communicate with clients about the most relevant product features/insights for their specific business needs.
• Work with Directors to help present syndicated content to clients in an interactive and confident manner.
2) Prepare and write in-depth insights combining market research and consumer analysis
• Work with Directors to write and publish reports related to Tech & Digital, Home Living topics, including 3C devices, appliances, household décor, etc., 
• Support Directors to deliver customized research projects. 
• Gather and analyze primary and secondary data, including market performance, company strategies, segmentation and consumer survey data, to generate accurate and forward-looking insights.

With Mintel internal team:
• Work closely within the Insights team in the PS to share industry news, communicate best practices, and support other team members work when schedules are tight. 
• Partner with the AM team in the PS to ensure we manage all accounts effectively and deliver client engagement plans together.
• Partner with the BD team in the PS to offer industry knowledge for potential clients and support business pitch
• Track account health from usage and engagement, proactively plan to minimize risk and maximize growth opportunities
• Be a client advocate in internal discussions with sales, product development, content and marketing on how we can better serve our clients.


Who We Are Looking For
• 3 years’+ experience gained in a B2B research or professional services environment. A passion and knowledge of the world of FMCG is also highly desirable.
• Understand market research quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and ability to manage full cycle of consumer research from 0 to 1.
• A track record of delivering value to complex clients with large employee bases, an understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models, and a passion for driving revenue and growth.
• Highly developed analytical skills, able to quickly interpret a wealth of information from different sources to build compelling stories with a commercial conclusion
• Proven organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize/manage a heavy workflow and meet publication deadlines
• Advanced standard in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin and English with first-class communication skills. This includes being totally at ease on the telephone or face-to-face with clients at a variety of levels.
• A solution-driven and results-focused attitude. Having the right attitude; based on enthusiasm, ambition, and a positive outlook, should all be characteristics you cherish and display. Be flexible, and ready to take on any given challenges. 
• Flexibility to travel regularly within China to meet with clients.
• Ideally you will have completed a business-related degree.
