Commercial Account Handler - Worcester

Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking to join a respected, people-focused insurance brokerage?
Our client, a well-established firm based in the heart of Worcester, is renowned for their expert advice, long-term client relationships, and supportive team culture. Due to continued growth, they're seeking confident and knowledgeable professionals to join their expanding team.

As a Commercial Account Handler, you'll take ownership of a varied portfolio of commercial clients across a range of industries. You'll deliver tailored insurance solutions, provide trusted advice, and build strong, lasting relationships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and new business quotations

Advising clients on a broad spectrum of commercial insurance products

Negotiating with insurers to secure competitive terms and comprehensive cover

Supporting Account Executives with administrative and technical tasks

Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures

Providing a high standard of customer service to foster client loyalty and retention



About You

We're looking for someone who brings both expertise and enthusiasm to the role.

You will ideally have:

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Commercial Account Handler position or similar role

A solid understanding of the insurance market

Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines

Experience using insurance based systems and MS Excel

Cert CII qualification (not essential)
