In the infrastructure business, we are the leading owner and operator of vertiports to enable electric air taxi operations around the world. Dubai is expected to be the first market to launch commercial flights in 2026 and Skyports has exclusive rights to develop the infrastructure.

The drone services businessprovidescargo drone delivery, surveillance, and inspection solutions for the medical,logisticsand e-commerce sectors, flying for the likes of the National Health Service (NHS) and Royal Mail in the UK.

We are a diverse team with employees based in the UK, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America and Head Quartered in Kennington, London. Skyports is well-funded for future growth with shareholders including several major international companies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Compliance policies (AML, ABC, Supplier DD, KYC) – design and implementation
  • Develop a Group-wide risk register as a working document to help identify commercial risks, financial risks, governance and compliance risks and ensure the control environment sufficiently reduces risk
  • Company secretarial work including company registrations and annual filings, winding-up procedures, Joint Venture structuring and creating foreign entities.
  • Attendance at Board Meetings to record Board resolutions/decisions, meeting records
  • Delegation of powers – maintain authority and sign offs
  • Shareholder/option holder registers and management of Option vesting, redemption and exercising
  • Entity incorporation (legal, payroll)
  • Assist in corporate governance matters, including regulatory filings, investor and board relations and record keeping.
  • Develop and update company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and alignment with best practices.
  • Protect the group's intellectual property rights.
  • Assist in due diligence and transactional matters related to mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring.
  • Appointing and working closely with external counsel when necessary.

This role is available for part-time working options.

Requirements

The ideal person for this position will have the following experiences and attributes:

  • Fully qualified Company Secretary and Corporate Governance Professional with at least three years of relevant experience
  • Experience acting as the Company Secretary, Compliance and Corporate Governance Officer
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that has a constantly evolving set of priorities.
  • Exposure to overseas entity creation
