About you:


We are looking for a passionate leader to support the growth and development of our branch and as an extension of our Cera family. As one of the largest service providers we have an opportunity to bring service and support to the most vulnerable in our communities and continue on our journey to being the UK’s fastest growing technology-enabled care provider. 


This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for a natural leader who adopts both a commercial and people first approach and enjoys the challenge of building a successful team in partnership with our local authorities. 


Responsibilities:


  • Accountable to the Registered Manager, subject to review in line with any future expansion of the organisation.

  • To ensure services are delivered within the current legislation framework statutory guidance, Cera Care policies and procedures and local authority safeguarding procedures.

  • To deputise for and support the Registered Manager, as and when required.

  • Attend Shared partnership meetings with the housing team.

  • To liaise with local authorities, social workers and other third parties.

  • Ensure KPI’s are achieved by the local council, Cera Care.

  • Support with HR investigations and disciplinary procedures.

  • Ensure stock levels of uniforms, PPE  and stationary are maintained.

  • Supporting Team Leaders with any management queries.

  • Support with On Call duties as per the need of the business.

  • To ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day management of the care operation, incorporating the direct line management for a team of Coordinators in the branch. Ultimate responsibility for all Care and Team Leaders employed within the care operation.

  • .To provide/produce reports and information as requested by the management team/personnel and Commissioners within agreed timescales

  • To attend and input in all branch review meetings held with senior managers.


What we’re looking for:


  • Previous experience working in a regulated care environment is a must.

  • Registered with SSSC (Scotland only)

  • Someone compliant with the knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act

  • A leader, someone comfortable leading a team and overseeing budgets. 

  • Knowledge of leading a team and working within a multi-disciplinary environment.

  • Experience of working with Service Users who have additional support or complex needs.

  • A leader with a passion for delivering excellent care to a high standard.
