As a Digital Trading Specialist, you’ll join a group of specialists who believe accountability, agility, and ambition are the formula for progress. Reporting into a Trading Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of campaign, brand and promotional strategies, facing into digital marketing, commercial and optimisation teams to drive initiatives and actions to improve conversion rates and KPIs.

  • Executing day-to-day trading of a website(s), under the guidance of Trading Manager
  • Manage reporting of daily/weekly/monthly/annual trade, providing detailed analysis of key business drivers and feeding into action plans to ensure sales and contribution targets are met
  • Utilising available resources, analysing seasonal sales patterns to maintain commercial awareness, reporting on key competitors and customer behaviour
  • Oversee and report on the weekly content for site changes, campaigns, promotions and brand partner updates. 
  • End-to-end management of all critical paths for campaign and promotional activity, including awareness of upcoming activities
  • Ensure communication of product & trading strategies to all digital marketing and optimisation teams.
  • Assist with coordinating evergreen and seasonal content requirements to drive SEO, customer engagement and conversion.
  • Manage process of improving product content, supporting teams to resolve any issues as quickly as possible to optimise sales

People Management

  • Set clear objectives, goals, and development plans for Trading Assistant(s) as relevant
  • Collaborate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, utilising appropriate communication and people management methods.
  • Be an active and positive contributor to the team, contributing to the overall ecommerce strategy
  • Represent the Digital Trading Team across the wider business, ensuring ecommerce KPI’s are understood and achievable for all


Qualifications

  • Valid working rights for the UK countries
  • Analytical with strong reporting skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced Google Analytics, Contentsquare, and Excel user
  • Experience working within e-commerce platforms
  • Independent, self-motivated, and proactive
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar digital role in a retail or consumer brand
