Cubiq recruitment have partnered with an outstanding drone/UAV company who are looking for an Assembly Technician to join their small yet ever-growing team near Upminster, East London / Essex. The company are developing a new generation of commercial drones on behalf of international clients for sophisticated missions. 

In your role as Drone Assembly Technician, you will be assigned the task of assembling drone/UAV airframes to an incredibly high standard, as well as soldering and wiring electrical components. This is a very hands-on role but and would be ideal for somebody who is passionate about working in a laboratory or production-focused environment. 

Suitable applicants for this role be able to demonstrate experience within the following: 

Knowledge of electronic assembly techniques, such as soldering, wiring and cramping
Knowledge of working with mechanical assemblies, adhesives and composites
Ability to read and work with technical drawings and 3D CAD files
Engaging with suppliers and organisation/monitoring of materials
Working within a small team environment and the ability support colleagues with a variety of tasks
Previous experience or a passion for drones/UAVs would be beneficial Interviews for this position will be taking place throughout December, with the intention for the successful applicant to join the team early in 2025.
