We are excited to offer a newly created role for an experienced DUA Analyst to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a leading Lloyd’s syndicate, where your expertise will make a real impact.

As a Delegated Underwriting Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that all forms of Delegated authority arrangements for MS Amlin follow the policies, procedures and processes of the Delegated Authority Framework and that a professional, efficient and effective service is provided at all times.

You will support Underwriters in the growth of the delegated book by facilitating effective onboarding and renewal processes providing technical advice and identifying compliant solutions. Supporting the Delegated Authority Business Partners on actioning all delegated activities, as well as, collaborating with internal SMEs, including but not limited to complaints and conduct teams to ensure alignment and regulatory compliance.

What you will spend your time doing

Assist with managing the Delegated Authority portfolio by:Completing onboarding due diligence for all new Coverholders including sponsorships to LloydsMaintain ongoing due diligence for the life cycle of the Coverholder relationship and underlying contractsConduct renewal due diligence for all existing binders, lineslips and consortiaComplete Coverholder applications, class of business, branch offices and regional extensions for Coverholders and MSAUL service companiesSupport Underwriting and claims teams with delegated authority queries and approval processes including Mid Term changes Conduct technical risk assessment reviews, ensuring third parties meet required standards Perform pre and post bind reviews for binders, lineslip, master policies and consortia to ensure procedural and regulatory compliance Support outsourced resource working on delegated activities and other supporting administrative tasks Support the Delegated Authority Operations team in resolving bordereaux queries, third party audit report reviews and recommendation remediation Use Lloyds system including Atlas, DCOM, Crystal to support registration and compliance activities Timely escalation of any material issues identified to appropriate forums Supporting the wider DA Team as required
