Inspiring young musicians across South Lanarkshire

Instrumental Music Instructor – all disciplines (including bagpipes/pipe drumming)

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of young musicians? South Lanarkshire Council’s Instrumental Music Service is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Instructors to join our temporary supply instructor database.

You’ll deliver high-quality group tuition across our schools, supporting pupils through the curriculum and SQA/external exams, and helping to lead exciting ensemble and performance opportunities across the authority.

We are looking for instructors in ALL instrumental disciplines who are:

Qualified with a degree in a recognised music course Able to work both independently and as part of a team Passionate about music education and motivating young people Experienced in teaching their specialist discipline

Hours and working patterns are in line with SNCT provisions. This post requires PVG Scheme membership under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act .
