GSL Education are seeking a passionate and experienced Food Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking school in Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students through practical cooking, nutrition, and food science, equipping them with essential life skills and creative problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities for Food Technology Teacher:


  • Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages.
  • Teach practical cooking, nutrition, food science, and hygiene skills.
  • Encourage creativity, independent learning, and critical thinking.
  • Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support academic achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and promote practical learning.


What You’ll Bring as a Food Technology Teacher:


  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology within a school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and practical expertise in food preparation and nutrition.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
