*We are taking new drivers.**

Free training provided.

Hours: Morning, afternoons or nights of your choice across Monday to Sunday with various start times available, average shift length of 12 hours.

Pay Rates:

Please note that there will be a £2 uplift on below rates between 23th of November till 20th of December on below rates.

  • AM : Monday - Thursday £16.81 / Friday £17.37/ Saturday £17.93/ Sunday £18.22 (Rolled up holidays).
  • PM: Monday - Thursday £17.37 / Friday £17.93/ Saturday £18.49 / Sunday £19.05 (Rolled up holidays).
  • Nights: Monday - Thursday £18.01 / Friday £19.05 / Saturday £19.61 / Sunday £19.95 (Rolled up holidays).

Location: Warrington, WA5.

The role:
  • Trunking between depots, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels.
  • Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.
  • Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
  • Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements:
  • Full training and support for new pass drivers.
  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Successful completion of assessment, including theory element which is two questionnaires based on drivers' hours and road laws and a practical element which will be based on yard reversing and a short driving test.
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
