Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are excited to now be offering a temp-perm opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 skip driver with our client in Bournemouth. 

*You will receive a £100 Bonus for the first 20 shifts that you complete with Driver Hire.*


Position: HGV Class 2 Skip Driver


Days: Monday-Friday


Start time: 06:00 AM


Start date: ASAP


Location: Bournemouth


Pay Rate: £16.25 (basic) – £18.21 (nights) – £20.17 (weekends). Quoted rate is for PAYE advance holiday pay.


As a HGV Driver you MUST have:

a minimum of 6 months of recent skip experience


a valid UK Class 2 HGV driving licence
your own transport to get to and from work
no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN codes)
a valid CPC and digital tachograph card

As a HGV Driver you will be responsible for:

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures


Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers
Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
