Equans are recruiting for a X2 Housekeeping Assistant's to be based in Birmingham University. This is a permanent full-time role working 35 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Hours of work are:


Monday to Friday 08:30am - 4pm with 30 mins for lunch.

What will you deliver?

Site based, working Monday Friday Shift patterns to be agreed but would be within 8am to 6pm


Provide a planned (weekly) and reactive cleaning service to shared kitchen & bathroom facilities and building entrances / circulation spaces within student accommodation units
Carry out daily inspections of designated areas (internal and external), addressing / reporting issues as required
Operate a variety of equipment to effectively clean hard & soft floorcoverings, furnishings, Windows & other building fabric
External Bin Stores Daily review of areas
Take a proactive role in reporting any maintenance issues encountered that may arise, taking action to address directly where appropriate / possible
Ensure cupboards are kept clean and locked when not in use
Support the maintenance teams with replacement of sundry items in residences when required
Monitor stock levels and report data to the contract administrator

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Demonstrate good time management skills, working to deadlines and adhering to set procedures
Needs to be highly motivated, organised, versatile and adaptive
Credible experience within a similar role
