Job Description <BR><BR>

In this Kitchen leadership hands on role, your eye for detail will help you excel, you will love leading and motivating your team to drive company strategy in all elements of the business.

  • Leading the lounge chef team and be the face for culinary in our Lounge.
  • Monitoring the kitchen area and the staff to ensure standards are maintained
  • Training new lounge employees on the Company Standards and Regulations
  • Monitoring performance of the CDP’s and Commis chefs
  • Ensuring all food products to be prepared up to the Company Standards
  • Ensuring that monthly changing menu is communicated internally, allergens record, and food specifications folder are always up to date and accessible to teams
  • Oversee the Lounge kitchen operations
  • Keeping the kitchen fully equipped with all the tools and inventory
  • Ensuring that the quality of food is consistently high and that hygiene standards are met and exceeded
  • Being the lead point of contact between our Hub kitchen and Lounge operation
  • Placing daily kitchen orders in accordance with current inventory levels, passenger forecast and past consumption data to maintain service efficiency
  • Creating and distributing shift plans for kitchen team

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen or hospitality environment.
  • Passion for food and administration
  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • An ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate your brigade of chefs
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Level 2 Food Safety and HACCP
  • Fluent in English, oral & written, with excellent communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • In charge to ensure all temperature checks are done and recorded in line with regulations. This role will also closely liaise on this with our Quality Assurance Team
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
