Are you curious about how products are made and love hands-on science? We’re looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our friendly and innovative team at Sun Chemical. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a scientific mind who enjoys practical work and wants to build experience in a lab setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting sample-making activities for our


Carrying out routine lab tasks and helping maintain equipment and protocols.
Working closely with experienced scientists to learn and grow your skills.
This role is not focused on product development—it’s all about sampling, testing, and learning. Perfect for someone who’s recently finished school or college and is looking to take their first step into the world of science and industry.

What We’re Looking For

A genuine interest in science and how things work.


A methodical and curious mindset—you enjoy solving problems and working with your hands.
GCSEs (especially in science subjects); A-Levels or further study in Chemistry, Biology, Physics or similar are a bonus.
Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
A team player who’s eager to learn and grow.
