 Position Overview:
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Holme Hall Quarry. In this role, you will engage in problem-solving and collaborate with our maintenance team to diagnose and resolve mechanical defects and breakdowns efficiently and safely. Your focus will be on identifying root causes of equipment issues, implementing solutions, and supporting the development and execution of preventative maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and safety of our plant operations.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical defects and perform breakdown repairs. Contribute to identifying and implementing preventative maintenance strategies. Work closely with the Maintenance Team Leader to enhance plant reliability and safety. Engage in the planning and execution of plant improvements and maintenance activities. Collaborate with team members and contractors to ensure effective maintenance support.


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Experience in an industrial maintenance role.Proficient in hydraulics, concrete pan mixers, welding, fabrication, and mechanics.NVQ in Mechanical Maintenance, BTEC equivalent, or higher.Full UK driving licence.NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Safety and/or NEBOSH qualification (advantageous).
