About The Role

Join one of the UK’s leading Total Facilities Management providers as a Minor Works Manager, supporting our continued expansion and commitment to service excellence. Based in the prestigious Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, you’ll oversee the delivery of minor works projects across a diverse and high-profile estate, including areas such as Notting Hill, Kensington, and Chelsea.

Hours Per Week: 
Monday - Friday, 40 Hours 

Job Type:
Permanent / Full Time The Minor Works Manager shall: Oversee and manage all site-based staff involved in minor works delivery Lead the planning and scheduling of minor works activities Manage and control all resources allocated to works, including labour, materials, and equipment Take full responsibility for the overall execution and delivery of minor works Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards Uphold Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management protocols across all works Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality throughout the delivery of minor works Monitor and control all aspects of works to ensure effective execution Deliver works within agreed programme timelines and budget constraints Ensure adherence to site-specific protocols and procedures for all works Manage and supervise subcontractors to ensure performance and compliance Communicate clearly and consistently with the wider management team Liaise with clients and design teams to coordinate requirements and resolve issues Chair regular progress meetings and compile reports for client presentation Lead subcontractor coordination meetings as required Document and distribute minutes from all works-related meetings
Maintain accurate contractual records for all minor works activities Participate in regular contract meetings with the client, providing updates and insights Identify and implement improvements or innovations to enhance delivery and efficiency Monitor and control costs associated with minor works Represent and promote the company positively in all interactions Compile and submit Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals upon completion of works This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the job title and the range of duties to be undertaken. It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.

About You

Essential Criteria 


1.Demonstrate previous experience in a Project Management/ Small Works role. 

2.Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) / Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) 

3.Formal Qualification NVQ Level 3 electrician/Mechanical or equivalent

4.Demonstrate strong communication and management skills. 

5.Experience in the delivery of commercial projects up to a value of £1mil

6.Ability to manage and deliver numerous concurrent projects of varying financial values and scope

7.Knowledge / understanding of NEC 4 contracts (preferable)
8.Ability to plan and programme projects using MS Project

9.Excellent IT skills I.E Microsoft Office

10.Excellent presentation skills
