Mobility Equipment Technician

Full-time, Permanent


£25K per annum

Start date: Immediately

Our client based in Barnstaple is looking for an experienced mobility equipment technician.

As a mobility equipment technician, you must:

Have experience in servicing, fitting and maintenance of mobility equipment, such as stairlifts, mobility scooters and hoists


Have a clean driving licence
Excellent customer service required as you will be entering customers homes
Have a professional appearance

Mobility equipment technician responsibilities include:

Servicing, fitting and repairing mobility equipment, you must have had prior relative experience in this field


Driving to customers homes to repair, service or fit their equipment
Clear, effective communication with customers regarding their mobility equipment
Conduct site surveys as required
Manage duties effectively and ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and to a professional standard

The successful candidate can expect:

Working Monday- Friday, occasional weekends due to emergency call outs


Contracted 38 hours per week
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
Salary starting at £25K per annum, however may increase based on experience
