Committed to enhancing our clients experience by providing a First-Class Service every time, GRAHAM are currently recruiting for a multi skilled joinery based operative for immediate start to deliver day to day reactive maintenance works across our Facilities Management Contract working mobile predominantly in the University of Manchester. GRAHAM FM will provide services related to both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance of facilities in relation to building fabric, and also minor works projects across the region. 


Reporting directly to the Contracts Delivery Manager, you will join an already well-established delivery team of Multi-Skilled Joiners/plumbers and General Operatives. As part of your role, you will be responsible for undertaking and delivering to a high standard reactive maintenance works and various planned projects throughout Manchester and Merseyside working independently but also part of an already high performing team.

Monday - Friday, 40 Hours 

Job Type: 
Permanent / Full Time The Multi Skilled Joiner will: •Work alongside existing/other members of the team

•Undertake a range of Joinery/plumbing/plastering tasks on reactive and small commercial projects. 

•Ensure all works are completed efficiently to a high standard. 

•Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to.

•Update Site/Project Management/Helpdesk on Progress of works.

•Liaise closely with our control hub to ensure efficient response to all works, either working on your own or as part of a team.

•Provide detailed write-ups/PDA reports of works carried out to ensure that both the GFM & clients CAFM system is kept up to date at all times.

•Deal with a variety of Clients/Customers on a daily basis

•Keep accurate Time reports on all tasks completed.

About You

Essential Criteria


1.Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience preferably within the maintenance or construction industry 

2.Demonstrate a sound general knowledge of multiple building and mechanical services

3.Full Driver’s Licence

4.Ability to obtain a DBS certificate.

5.Ability to obtain Police Vetting approval.

1.CSCS card or other recognised Safety training

2.Recognised Health & Safety training 

3.Licensed MEWP operator 

4.Manual Handling training 

5.Confined space training
