Job Title: Physical Education (PE) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5)
Salary: £155 – £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-time, Long Term/Day-to-day

GSL Education are seeking a passionate Physical Education Teacher to join a dynamic and inclusive school in Sheffield. This role is ideal for someone who can inspire students to lead active lifestyles, promote teamwork, and foster a love for physical activity and sports.

Key Responsibilities of the PE Teacher:


  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons across Key Stages.
  • Promote physical fitness, healthy habits, and sportsmanship.
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment for all students to participate.
  • Encourage students to develop confidence, resilience, and collaboration through sport.
  • Work with colleagues to support extracurricular activities and school sports events.


Requirements for the PE Teacher role:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Physical Education at school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to motivate students.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
