Equans is looking for a Procurement Officer - SFM Projects to join our team in Bristol on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

Developing Key Commodity Magement analysis to enable to carry out tenders efficiently and develop expertise on the dedicated categories (by following the 7 key steps of Category Management


Preparing tenders for standard contracts with suppliers / subcontractors as well as negotiating terms and conditions, rates and services provided
Developing tender analysis and presenting reports and recommendations to senior management
Demonstrating best overall value for money in the procurement recommendations
Developing an accredited and structured trade specific supply chain that is aligned to the national and regional business demand and overall Equans strategy
Consistently monitoring the trade specific market place to ensure awareness of pricing trends, risks and opportunities
Continuously seeking out and assessing new supply chain for the trade to meet national and regional project demand
Monitoring the supply chain performance, workload and financial status to protect the corporate position
Developing the supply chain, products and innovations that bring cost, build ability and efficiency benefits
Rationalising the supplier base and develop stronger purchasing leverage over key suppliers/Subcontractors through the negotiation of supply agreements
Working with the Central Category team where required for review of Project categories on a business wide perspective
Deep understanding of suppliers and supply markets (Mechnical & Electrical, and other projects works)
Assisting the Operations and Project teams with Procurement concerns raised by the Client
Presentation of tender reports/key figures/projects to be presented to senior management as and when required

Who are we looking for?

Experience in the Facilities Management sector or a similar industry, which involves managing complex supply chains for project works.


Significant experience in procurement, particularly in project-based procurement. Experience managing large-scale projects and working with cross-functional teams
Deep understanding of procurement processes, and industry best practices. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Expertise in supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with suppliers, stakeholders, and team member
