Job Description

As the Product Lead across the full web customer experience, you’ll be responsible for driving the evolution of our digital commerce platforms and delivering seamless, world-class customer journeys across our global brand estate.

You will lead two key areas of our on-site experience:

  • Product Discovery – ensuring that our content, site structure, and navigation deliver an inspiring and intuitive experience across all touchpoints.
  • Checkout & Payments – optimising conversion through a frictionless, compliant, and scalable payment ecosystem.

You’ll define the product vision, set the strategic roadmap, and manage a team of 4 exceptional Product Owners to bring these experiences to life, while our programme moves into a future-facing MACH architecture. You will be joining the business at a time of significant growth and investment in Digital, the opportunity to be part of this digital transformation is huge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define & execute the strategic vision for the Product Discovery and Checkout/Payments domains, aligning with wider Business & Product OKRs and digital transformation goals. Quarterly strategic planning sessions will be owned & driven by You.
  • Own the product roadmap, prioritising initiatives that improve discoverability, engagement, and conversion. You will ensure that refinement and prioritisation processes maximise value delivery.
  • Lead, develop & mentor a team of 4 Product Owners, ensuring clarity of purpose, prioritisation, and excellence in execution.
  • Own the discovery, opportunity sizing and business casing of programme-level strategic initiatives driving major value for Frasers.
  • Ensure that comprehensive scoping & compliance documentation is maintained for product features, processes and updates.
  • Drive strategy behind UX optimisation across key on-site experience touchpoints, including homepage, product pages, search & filtering, cart, and checkout.
  • Work collaboratively with key senior stakeholders including UX Design, Technology, Optimisation, Finance Services, Trade, Marketing and others in support of the successful delivery of your products.
  • Optimise the checkout experience for our customers, while working closely with PSPs, payment providers, and regulatory partners to deliver secure, compliant, and high-converting solutions.
  • Enhance the content structure, navigation, and search experience, leveraging data and customer insights to drive iteration.
  • Consistently apply product best practices and act as an advocate for the product discipline across the business. Be a domain SME and represent the ‘voice of the customer’ through the product’s development.

This role is on a hybrid basis with 3 days onsite at our London Office, and 2 days from home.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale ecommerce products being presented to millions of global customers, ideally across both product discovery (search, navigation, content architecture, SEO) and checkout/payment flows.
  • Strong familiarity with the FinTech landscape and deep understanding of payment orchestration, PSD2, fraud prevention, delivery carriers, and cross-border compliance.
  • Experience managing site content structures, navigation & search frameworks, and content management systems (CMS).
  • Strong analytical mindset; comfortable making data-driven product decisions and setting measurable KPIs.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to inspire and align cross-functional teams around a shared product vision.
  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Exposure to MACH architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless) is highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
