As a Raw Material Buyer, you'll play a pivotal role in sourcing, developing, and managing suppliers across the globe. From driving cost efficiencies and supporting new product innovation to ensuring compliance across complex supply chains - you'll help power our machines, our processes, and our growth.

What You'll Do


  • Source, negotiate, and onboard new products to support NPI and product development.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to boost efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Lead supplier and commodity development to deliver measurable performance improvements.
  • Maintain supplier compliance in line with ISO standards, statutory regulations, and business processes.
  • Ensure adherence to global supply chain compliance - including Preferential Origin, CBAM, and UK/EU sanctions.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate supply chain risk across all categories.


What You'll Bring


  • Advanced IT literacy - Excel, data analysis, ERP systems, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.
  • Strong negotiation, cost management, and supplier relationship skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and the confidence to drive change.
  • Exceptional communication and planning skills with a clear project focus.
  • Proven ability to lead by example, support team development, and deliver results under pressure.
  • Strong NPI implementation and decision-making capability aligned with business needs.

  • Excellent communicator who can engage stakeholders at every level.
  • Experience working with non-malleable grey iron castings or engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft AX (advantageous but not essential).
  • CIPS qualification or equivalent professional certification.
