The Role

As a Sales Assistant/Driver, you'll support your store team with boosting sales and ensuring the smooth operation of our store. Your mission: To help our customers discover and buy wines, beers and spirits they will love this Christmas.

Job Specifics:

Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (ending 24th December )

Hours: 12 Hours Per Week

Must be able to work weekends and evenings

Driving is a key part of this position so being comfortable driving one of our company vans is essential. We will not accept candidates without a full UK manual driver's license (held for at least 12 months) for this position.

Key Responsibilities

At Majestic Wine, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. As a Sales Assistant, you’ll be an ambassador for the store in which you work, supporting the team to deliver a bespoke Christmas shopping experience for every one of our customers.

We're on the lookout for individuals who can:

Drive store performance by embracing sales opportunities and exceeding targets.

Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering loyalty and repeat business.

Share your passion for our products with customers

Take pride in maintaining our store's impeccable appearance.

Involvement in all operational tasks required for the day-day operational running of Majestic Wine store - from delivering wine to our customers in one of our vans, merchandising stock deliveries and calling our valued customers to drive sales opportunities.

Ensure we’re operating safely by following all internal policies and training.

Knowledge & Skills Required

Excellent time management, delegation and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Self-motivated, able to thrive when working alone and as part of a team.

A can-do attitude with a knack for solving challenges.

Adaptable and resilient to meet the ever-changing demands of our business.

Wine, beer & spirits knowledge is a plus, but a passion for learning is essential.

Hold a full manual UK driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
