As we expand our Critical Power team, we have an opportunity for a Sales Professional to join our team.

What you’ll do:

Drive New Business: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities for Aggreko’s critical power solutions within the Data Centre and Utilities sectors across the UK and Ireland. Account Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring Aggreko is the partner of choice for mission-critical power needs. Solution Selling: Work closely with technical teams to develop tailored proposals, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer requirements, site constraints, and the unique challenges of uptime-sensitive environments. Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in Data Centres and Utilities, using insights to inform sales strategies and maintain Aggreko’s competitive edge. Project Collaboration: Support the delivery of complex projects by collaborating with project managers, engineers, and service teams to ensure seamless handover from sales to execution. Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, provide regular forecasts, and deliver against ambitious revenue and margin targets. Brand Ambassador: Represent Aggreko at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings, upholding the company’s reputation for reliability, innovation, and service excellence.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the critical power, Data Centre, or Utilities sectors. Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand and communicate complex power solutions (generators, UPS, switchgear, load banks, etc.). Experience managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification through to contract negotiation and close. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with a consultative approach to solution selling. Commercial awareness, with experience working to revenue and margin targets. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently across a large geographic territory. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland, as required. Full UK driving licence.
