In this role, you’ll apply your actuarial expertise and analytical mindset to improve business workflows and build powerful analytics products on Palantir Foundry. You’ll be involved across the product lifecycle—from shaping hypotheses and building prototypes to deploying solutions and iterating with users. Your understanding of actuarial processes and insurance data will help identify where analytics can create the most value and contribute to product roadmaps.


Analytics Product Shaping. You engage directly with business product owners and business users to develop an understanding of their process and how data & analytics can be used to generate value for their areasPalantir Foundry implementation. You leverage the data in our data platform, transforming it to fit your use case, and build dashboards as well as workflow applications that provide insights towards the businessAgile Delivery. You work hand-in-hand with data engineers, product leads and business stakeholders in a cross-functional scrum team, leveraging modern product management techniques to quickly build valuable products incrementally

Required experience & competencies

Core skills

Actuarial & Business Understanding. Solid grounding in actuarial principles and insurance economics. You’ve worked in roles involving pricing, reserving, or risk modeling and are comfortable navigating insurance data. Technical Expertise. You enjoy working with data and have experience modeling and transforming data pipelines. Familiarity with Python, SQL, or Spark is a plus. Data Visualization / Application Development. Hands-on experience with data visualization tools. Exposure to building applications or dashboards is a plus. JavaScript or TypeScript knowledge is beneficial but not required. Product Thinking. You’re curious about how great products are built and enjoy understanding user journeys. You work iteratively and focus on delivering value quickly. Can-Do Attitude. You are a generalist that loves working on new problems independently and developing new skill sets on your own. You develop creative solutions to hard problems. Collaboration & Communication. You thrive when working with people with different backgrounds, helping them translate their needs into a technical design. You enjoy working in a cross-functional team where everyone feels responsible for the outcome and brings in their ideas on how we succeed.

Nice-to-have

Technical Leadership: Experience leading delivery streams or contributing to product strategy. Palantir Foundry. Prior exposure to Palantir Foundry or similar data platforms is a plus.

Required Education

Quantitative bachelor’s or master’s degree (e.g. Physics, Data Science, Engineering) or equivalent
