Shipping Administrator


Location: Rugby
Pay: £14.35 per hour (approx. £28,000 pro-rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday (e.g., 08:30 – 17:30)
Contract: Ongoing Agency (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for an experienced Shipping Administrator to cover a key maternity leave role within a busy engineering company in Rugby.


This is an office-based position where you will manage the full export and shipping process.


What you’ll be doing

Arranging the shipping and export of products via air and sea freight.


Completing all necessary customs paperwork, including declarations.
Handling general office administration, such as answering phones, managing the team inbox and filing.

What you’ll need

Essential: Demonstrable experience in a shipping, export or freight role. (Please note: This is not a trainee position, and we cannot consider applications without this experience.)


Strong all-round office administration and IT skills.
Excellent organisation and the ability to thrive in a busy environment.
A confident and professional telephone manner.
