Reports to: Lead Smart Analyst
Location: Nottingham Head Office
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week 

Based in Nottingham, we are looking to expand our Smart Metering Team due to continued success & growth, and have created an exciting opportunity for a Smart Metering & Robotic Analyst, ensuring an excellent standard of service is provided and maintained to our Yu Energy customers.

What We Need from Yü


 Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:



  • To manage the AI and robotics automation suite, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, flagging any issues and offering insight into potential improvements. 
  • Provide support to the Smart Metering department with their data and MI needs, working with complex data sets. 
  • Be responsible for the set-up, production, & maintenance of scheduled/ad-hoc reporting. 
  • Offer day to day support to the Lead Smart Analyst, working to deadlines. 
  • Organise and sort data in spreadsheets and other systems to provide accurate and specific records, containing all relevant information to enable requests to be resolved to the timelines and standards required. 
  • Understand and work to a written or verbal brief with minimal supervision. 
  • Build strong relationships with other teams across the business. 
  • To develop and maintain a good understanding of the systems and processes, so that you can offer support on initial triage of issues raised. 
  • Maintain continuity of work by documenting & communicating required actions to management, identifying irregularities in processes & shaping continuing needs. 
  • Provide solutions to the broad range of written and verbal enquiries.

 Relevant Qualifications / Experience: 

  • Advanced MS Office skills with a focus on Excel and data processing. 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Desirable: 

  •  Experience working within the Electricity and Gas industry. 
  • Working with complex data sets and awareness of performance monitoring/reporting
