What You’ll Gain


  • In-School Experience: From day one, you will be based in a Fareham school, immersed in everyday classroom life. You’ll work with experienced teachers, supporting pupils of different ages and abilities, while gradually taking on greater teaching responsibility as your skills grow.
  • Tailored Training: Alongside your school placement, you’ll participate in a comprehensive CPD and training program, covering key areas such as lesson planning, behaviour management, inclusive education, safeguarding, assessment strategies, and effective classroom technology use.
  • Mentorship and Support: You’ll have a dedicated mentor guiding you through the program, offering regular feedback, encouragement, and practical advice. You’ll also be part of a wider professional network, giving you the chance to share experiences and learn from other trainees.
  • Pathway to QTS: Year 1 focuses on developing your classroom skills and confidence, while Year 2 enables you to complete your Initial Teacher Training (ITT), leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the opportunity to begin your career as a fully qualified teacher.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for this program, you must have:


  • A bachelor’s degree in any subject (essential).
  • GCSEs, including Mathematics and English.
  • A Levels in any subject (desirable).
