Our Test Laboratory plays a critical role in developing and validating our products, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of the industry.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Technician to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the testing of products—both existing and under development—as well as providing independent testing services to clients worldwide. If you have a passion for mechanical engineering and thrive in a hands-on, data-driven environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct mechanical testing of engineering structures and tubular components.

Test products from concept through production stages.

*

Perform commercial product testing in line with client and in-house specifications.

*

Assist in preparing and compiling trials, test procedures, technical data analysis, and final reports.

*

Assemble full-scale test rigs and conduct tests while monitoring data through PC systems.

*

Maintain accurate records of testing activities through daily log sheets.

*

Apply strain monitoring instrumentation, including calibrations, installations, and data acquisition system monitoring.

*

Ensure compliance with UKAS standards as outlined in ISO 17025 to maintain accreditation.

Qualifications and Experience:

*

ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but hands-on mechanical experience will be considered.

*

Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret technical data.

*

Proficiency in operating and monitoring mechanical testing equipment.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:

*

Promote and uphold the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.

*

Conduct risk and COSHH assessments, implementing appropriate control measures.

*

Ensure compliance with HSE

*

Perform Safe Job Assessments (SJAs)
