As a Waste Operative, you will be instrumental in executing efficient waste management practices to ensure a clean, safe, and environmentally-friendly workplace for our clients and their employees. You will handle waste disposal, assist in recycling programs, and help maintain compliance with environmental standards.

Responsibilities

Collect, sort, and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and local regulations Assist in the implementation of recycling and waste reduction initiatives Conduct regular inspections of waste disposal areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance Maintain accurate records related to waste collection and disposal Report any hazardous waste or safety concerns to the supervisor Provide excellent customer service to clients by addressing their waste management needs Participate in training programs to stay updated on waste management best practices and regulations

Requirements

Prior experience in waste management or related field is preferred Strong understanding of waste disposal regulations and recycling processes Ability to work independently and efficiently as part of a team Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks including lifting and transporting waste Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills A valid driver's license may be required
