Business Development Executive – New Build Cladding & Facades

Are you a proactive and enterprising professional looking to excel in business development within the construction industry? Join our team as a Business Development Executive and play a vital role in driving growth in the new build cladding and facades sector.

Your Role:

Reporting directly to the Director, you will take charge of identifying and developing new business opportunities, converting leads into clients, and building strong relationships across the industry. Key responsibilities include:

Researching new sales avenues, companies, and contacts.

Staying informed about competitors’ activities and industry developments.

Pitching to potential clients and cold calling to generate new leads.

Attending industry events and visiting sites across the UK.

Monitoring progress on leads and company activities on-site.

Maintaining effective relationships with internal teams, sister companies, clients, suppliers, and third parties.

Managing and motivating staff when required.

Tracking and reporting sales performance to the Director.

What We’re Looking For:

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

Proven experience in sales and business development within the construction industry.

Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Exceptional spoken English for clear and persuasive communication.

A valid UK driving licence and access to your own car (business mileage and expenses covered).
