TEKEVER Defence is responsible for the development and delivery of TEKEVER’s offering to the defence market, with a core focus to deliver innovative, battle-winning capabilities to NATO defence partners. It is divided into five main departments: Capability, Delivery, Operations, Test and Evaluation, and Business Development and Strategy.

This role sits within TEKEVER Defence’s growing Defence Operations function, responsible for supporting our customers through active deployments across the world.

Job Overview:

The Business Unit works end to end in the capability cycle – from the identification of critical gaps in defence capabilities, through to design and rapid prototyping, into production, training, and delivery.

Supported by exceptional capabilities within the TEKEVER Group, this cross-functional model is essential at enabling TEKEVER to rapidly respond to customer requirements in an ever-changing global security environment.

As part of a major expansion across the UK, TEKEVER is seeking a number of highly skilled engineers across a range of disciplines:

  • Systems
  • Aeronautical and Aerospace
  • Mechanical
  • Electrical
  • Robotics
  • Payload (RF/EW)

What will be your responsibilities:

  • Work on a wide range of cutting-edge engineering projects, from the integration of new payloads onto existing systems through to the development of new aircraft concepts.
  • Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of new concepts, systems, and products to bring battle-winning capabilities that meet the evolving needs of defence customers.
  • Analyse complex technical issues and collaborate across multiple stakeholders to identify viable solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, test plans, and user manuals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements across engineering teams.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance across the Defence Business Unit.

Profile and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and methodologies.
  • An interest in the defence and/or aviation industries.
  • Must be eligible to hold SC clearance and willing to undergo the vetting process.
  • Work authorisation in the UK is required.
  • Availability for office working for a minimum of 3 days a week at our TEKEVER Defence sites in Bath and the South West is essential.
