Bennett and Game are currently working with a leading multi-disciplined access, maintenance and repair company that focuses on bringing innovation, combined with engineering, and design excellence. They work in a variety of different sectors including Oil and Gas, Hydro Power, Renewable Energy and Petro Chemical to name a few.

Our client is looking for a Graduate Engineer to join their engineering team based in Edinburgh or Luton. You will work as part of our team to deliver technical solutions on a variety of projects. Projects range from high industrial structures to historic listed buildings. They have several key accounts they continuously provide engineering solutions for and you will be required to become a key part of the team to deliver a high-quality service to their clients.

Responsibilities

Design of steel and reinforced concrete structures in accordance with Eurocodes for predominantly industrial infrastructure. Produce temporary works designs for our inhouse contracting business. Prepare inspection scopes and produce survey reports from site investigations. Carry out site surveys.

Skills

Have a keen eye for attention to detail to prepare technical calculations, drawings and reports. Good time management to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Team player to become part of our friendly team.

Opportunities

Development of structural design skills working with our experienced industrial team Work on projects across the globe supporting many of our multinational clients. Training and development in the use of the most up to date structural technology. Graduate mentoring and support to obtain chartered status. Potential to obtain CAA pilot's licence to operate our own inhouse drones.

Requirements

MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with Merit Full UK driving licence.
