Contract Scotland was established to redefine recruitment and set a new standard, to challenge how the recruitment industry works.

So what does life as a new graduate look like at Contract Scotland? 

You’ll be trained and mentored by some of the best & most experienced recruiters in Scotland. 
You will benefit from our well-developed training programme designed to provide you with a solid foundation to build from.   
From there you will receive ongoing coaching and support to build your sector expertise, enabling you to deliver a first-class service. We ultimately aim to develop independent thinkers, empowering people to take control but there is always someone to lean on or seek advice from.  
You will work to take on your own section that you will manage independently and continue to build your own individual style backed by the sound values and principles that have ensured our success over the years.  
We’ve worked hard to be recognised as genuine professionals and have built an unrivalled network of clients and candidates in that time. We’re ready to share that with you and help you build effective relationships with the best employers and job seekers.  
You will enjoy regular face time with clients, getting out & about attending external meetings and networking events.  
Beyond your initial training, you can expect a continual focus on your development. We have an excellent track record in working with our team to help them fulfil their potential and achieve their longer-term ambitions. We continually seek to raise the bar and maintain a healthy challenge for each individual. 
You won’t be given any meaningless targets that get in the way of you providing a best in class service to our clients & candidates, and with no volume-based commission, you can focus on the right tasks/outcomes. You’ll need to let us tell you more about our unique reward scheme…

Standout communication skills - whether it’s with the rest of the Contract Scotland team or our external clients/candidates, we need people who can present themselves well and talk to all kinds of folk. 

Discipline/ability to be organised - There’s lots to do, and you need to be able to prioritise and multi-task daily. 

Ambition - you’ll be surrounded by experienced & capable people, but you will be given the space & freedom to succeed on your terms, so we’re after people who are driven to be the best at what they do! 

Persuasive - we’re looking for people who can demonstrate how their likeability/influence will lead to success & strong relationships. 

Selfless/ability to work as a team - this might sound odd for a recruitment consultancy, but we want people who aren’t always looking out for number one and can consider others and work as a team to achieve their goals.
