Bid Administrator

Location: West Malling, Kent
Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 + benefits
Sector: Construction

Are you a proactive administrator with construction industry experience, looking for a new challenge? Our client, a leading main contractor, is searching for a Bid Administrator to join their dynamic Business Development team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Business Development in executing and expanding the company's business growth strategy.

  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, from identifying and qualifying opportunities to submitting persuasive proposals.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, especially pre-construction, to ensure seamless information flow and timely submissions.

  • Develop and maintain project profiles and client presentations that align with brand and corporate identity guidelines.

  • Prepare, submit, and track pre-qualification questionnaires and associated documentation.

  • Contribute to marketing materials and award submissions, ensuring all content is aligned with company standards.

  • Coordinate photography and visual documentation of projects for use in promotional and bid materials.

  • Attend relevant meetings, including project briefings and tender discussions, to maintain alignment and stay informed.

    Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the construction industry within administration, bid coordination, or similar roles.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build and maintain client relationships.

  • A proactive mindset with a keen attention to detail, capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with bid and proposal processes, as well as an understanding of construction terminology and project requirements.
