Arboriculture Team Leader / Climber
Location: Templepatrick, BT39 0RA
Salary/hourly rate: £14.50 to £16 per hour
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

About the role

As an Arboriculture Team Lead, you will take a leading role in overseeing arboricultural operations, ensuring that all tree surgery and forestry tasks are performed to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include managing daily activities, coordinating area-based teams, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will focus on the planning and performance of arboricultural works, fostering a safe and efficient work environment. Working closely with internal teams and clients, you will help drive operational excellence, support team development, and uphold the company's reputation in forestry and arboriculture services.

Requirements

This role will require Level 3 Maintenance (Formally CS 30 / CS 31) and Level 3 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue (Formally CS 38), Level 2 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness (Formally CS 39), Large fall over 380mm and Level 3 Aerial Tree Rigging (Formally CS 41)
Proven experience as an Arborist
Full Clean Driving Licence.
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and staff at all levels.
Experience in managing teams and performance.
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and risk management.
Ability to train, guide, and mentor others in arb techniques
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
