Our client is a large national utility contractor providing engineering and vegetation management services to electricity distributor network operators in several areas of the UK. They are urgently seeking up to 6 members of cutting staff to cover Shropshire, reporting to an office near Shrewsbury. THere is also simialr openings at their Stoke on Trent.depot.

Arborists and grounds people are required to assist in any tree team duties needed for the clearance of vegetation surrounding power lines, in accordance with safe working practices. Certificates for the use of the saw and aerial rescue are desirable although training will be given if necessary. A driving licence is essential and a vehicle will be provided for team leaders for commuting and work purposes.

Performance related pay is offered with earnings of £40000 achievable for a climber and circa £35000 for Grounds person
