Hybrid – London (3 days a week)

£40,000 - £45,000 Basic + Discretionary Bonus + Wellbeing Benefits + Holidays + Pension

Enjoy working this pivotal Bid Coordinator role reporting into the Senior Leadership Team. Good package on offer, as well as the opportunity to join a new bidding team to help the Bid Manager build out new processes, strategies, and bid library, with progression as a reward in the future.

The business is looking for a well-versed Bid Coordinator, to be one of their first bidders ever. This role will work closely with the Bid Manager, Pre Contract Lead, Estimators and wider business teams, to produce contract winning proposals through excellent content writing and design. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be recognised as a specialist and is willing to roll up their sleeves and make a difference by implementing process and ideas to help build out this side of the business, resulting in freedom, flexibility and a stable long term role.

Key Duties:

  • Lead the preparation, formatting, and submission of high-quality bid and tender documents, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines

  • Use Adobe InDesign to create visually appealing and professional bid documents, ensuring consistency in branding and layout

  • Collaborate with estimators, project managers, and other key stakeholders to gather, review, and refine bid content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and persuasiveness

  • Maintain and update a database of standard bid responses, case studies, project profiles, and company credentials to streamline the bid-writing process

  • Ensure all bid submissions adhere to company quality standards and client requirements, checking for grammatical accuracy, consistency, and completeness

  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to obtain necessary information and approvals for bid submissions

  • Maintain structure and organisation within the estimating server, ensuring that files are stored correctly and outdated documents are archived appropriately

    Experience Required:

  • Previous experience as a Bid Coordinator / Bid Executive / Bid Writer or similar

  • Background working with Construction / Building Services / M&E is ideal but not essential

  • Proficient using adobe InDesign

  • Strong written, communication and organisational skills

  • Willing to travel into the London offices 3 days a week
