Position Overview:

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a critical role in the growth of our client’s business. You’ll be the driving force behind winning new projects, forging lasting client relationships, and shaping the future of the company’s success. With a focus on the structural steel fabrication market, you'll work closely with industry leaders to deliver bespoke, high-value solutions that exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Fuel Business Growth: Leverage your sales and industry knowledge to identify, pursue, and close high-value opportunities within the structural steel fabrication market. Craft strategic plans that consistently meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Cultivate Strong Client Partnerships: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers across engineering, construction, and architectural sectors. Be their go-to expert, providing tailored solutions that address their unique needs.

  • Deliver Winning Proposals: Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to create compelling, persuasive proposals that highlight the company’s expertise and innovative approach.

  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep a close eye on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Use this knowledge to sharpen the business development strategy and ensure the company stays ahead in the market.

  • Team Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and production, ensuring projects are delivered flawlessly from start to finish.

  • Market Representation: Be the face of the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, networking with potential clients and partners to uncover new opportunities.

    Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within engineering, construction, or technical markets.

  • Strong interest in researching clients, industries, and upcoming projects.

  • Relevant qualification in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Sales certifications or industry-specific courses are a plus.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and effectively communicate technical solutions to clients at all levels.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and identify new business opportunities.

  • Bonus: Knowledge of structural steel fabrication processes and the ability to interpret technical drawings is highly desirable.
