CNC Sliding Head Programmer

We are looking for a turner capable of programming, setting and operating our 4 Star
Sliding Head machines: SR20, SV20, SR32J & SR20JII type B.

Machining a wide variety of components from a range of different, and sometimes difficult materials, to tight tolerances and finishing parts to the required specification.

Other aspects of the role will include:

⦁ Quick turnaround set/run on small batch quantities.
⦁ To be able to produce first run prototypes.
⦁ Oversee unmanned/lights out machining.
⦁ You will be able to read and understand complex drawings and have a good eye for detail.
⦁ Must work well within a team.
⦁ Have good problem-solving ideas.

Responsibilities:
⦁ Review parts produced, drawings or instructions to understand required specifications.
⦁ Be responsible for own quality recording outputs to drawing specifications.
⦁ Monitor machine while working to achieve optimum outputs.
⦁ Always looking for continuous improvement in all processes
