We are seeking a highly accomplished and visionaryCommercial Directorto lead our commercial strategy and drive significant revenue growth. This is a pivotal leadership role, offering an exciting opportunity to shape the commercial trajectory of a rapidly expanding, innovative company at the forefront of the autonomous vehicle revolution.


The role:

  • Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets, expand market share, and establish Syos as a global leader in autonomous systems.
  • Commercial Excellence:Lead all aspects of commercial operations, including sales, business development, marketing, contract negotiation, and strategic partnerships.
  • Business Development and Market Expansion:Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, driving international sales, establishing strategic partnerships in key regions, and leading the business development function.
  • Risk Management and Contractual Expertise:Provide expert guidance on commercial, contractual, and risk management matters, ensuring optimal project outcomes and mitigating potential liabilities.
  • Intellectual Property and Export Control:Oversee the development and execution of Syos' intellectual property strategy and ensure strict compliance with export control regulations.
  • Legal Oversight:Direct and coordinate legal reviews with external counsel, ensuring efficient and effective legal support for all commercial activities.
  • Team Leadership:Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing commercial team, encompassing sales, business development, and marketing, fostering a culture of excellence and driving continuous improvement.


Your experience:

  • Extensive senior-level commercial leadership experience within the aerospace, drone, or related high-technology industry.
  • Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and achieving ambitious commercial targets in international markets.
  • Demonstrated expertise in commercial law, contract negotiation, and risk management.
  • In-depth knowledge of export control regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in developing IP strategy
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • A relevant law degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience in founding and developing commercial, business development and marketing departments.
  • Proven experience leading and developing business development and marketing teams.
