Data Driven Marketing - eCommerce & Media

 

Location: Woking, UK
Reporting to:Senior Data & CRM Manager
Job Function:Digital Transformation: 
 

Job Purpose 
Play a crucial role in the analysis and optimisation of media, e-comms and owned channels, ensuring that a data driven approach is applied to drive customer engagement and growth for Colgate-Palmolive brands. 
The role requires a deep understanding of the ever-changing digital behavior of today’s consumer, and will play a fundamental role in driving the success of our online engagement and sales strategy in Europe. 
The candidate will have a strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, which can optimise digital sales performance, and will be extremely confident in running data analysis to measure performance, test hypotheses, develop insights and make recommendations that drive the highest incremental gains


 
What you will do:

  • Gather, analyze and interpret data from various sources including GA4, eCommerce platforms, CRM systems, Google Search Counsel, SEM rush and other business intelligence tools
  • Analyze marketing campaigns on various digital platforms, including but not limited to Meta, Google and programmatic DSPs to drive performance driven business decisions
  • Ability to log into Amazon Marketing Cloud to pull insights which will advise business decisions and strategies
  • Work with media strategists to ensure campaigns goals/objectives are achieved
  • Own daily, weekly, and monthly reports and provide optimization recommendations to drive a digital learning agenda across our brands 
  • Effectively partner and influence across analytics teams, technology groups, and business functions 
  • Develop and streamline vital reporting, dashboards and one-off analyses, monitor initiatives while effectively communicating performance
  • Collaborate with team members to define and operationalize KPIs for short and long-term measurement, that align with company financial goals and marketing strategies
  • Prepare and present quantitative analyses to influence peers as well as C-level leadership

 
Experience Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing or related field with 5+ years of work experience
  • Experience of leading multiple locales, regional roles etc.
  • Experience of FMCG Data model preferable but not crucial
  • Media Analytics experience essential
  • Consistent track record of strong visualization outputs
  • Experience of DOMO is highly desired but essential
  • Expert understanding of Google Looker, Google Sheets and other BI tools 
  • Experience of presenting data insights to senior management 
  • Knowledge of 2nd Party Data solutions or clean rooms preferable but not essential 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to multitask, plan, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Flexible and proactive response to changing demands
  • Creative and able to independently generate ideas and value-add improvements
