Are you a dedicated and compassionate professional looking for a rewarding role in a specialist mental health setting? We are currently seeking a Dietitian with Band 7 level experience to join our multidisciplinary team at Ivetsey Bank Hospital from July 2025. We're a Tier 4 CAMHS inpatient service providing care for young people with complex mental health needs and this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by supporting our patients with their nutritional needs, contributing to their recovery, and working collaboratively with a skilled and supportive team.

At Ivetsey Bank Hospital, we take a holistic approach to care, ensuring that our young people receive the support they need in a positive and engaging environment. For instance, we recently held an animal therapy session, where we had the opportunity to interact with a variety of animals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, a Burmese python, a meerkat, a skunk, a bearded dragon, a tortoise, and owls. Animal therapy has been shown to provide numerous benefits, such as; encouraging social communication, building important skills like attention and emotional reciprocity, boosting self-esteem while reducing anxiety and depression, helping develop behavioural and practical skills, offering calming physical interactions for emotional regulation, and breaking down emotional barriers and encouraging self-expression.

Our team prides itself on finding creative and innovative ways to enhance the therapeutic experience for our young people. Whether it's sensory-based activities, interactive group sessions, or outdoor therapies, we are always looking for new and engaging approaches that make a real difference in their recovery journey. By fostering an environment of curiosity and adaptability, we ensure that every young person receives individualised, dynamic, and effective care tailored to their unique needs.

If you are looking for a role where you can truly make a positive impact, in an organisation that values innovative and holistic approaches to care, apply now!

What you'll be working:

Our standard working hours for this role are 22.5 hours per week. Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to be on site on Tuesdays for our MDT meeting, and the remaining working hours can be discussed.

We understand the importance of a positive work-life balance, and therefore, if you require some flexibility to better suit your personal or professional needs, we encourage you to discuss this with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences where possible.

Contract vs Permanent UAV Jobs: Which Pays Better in 2025?

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)—commonly referred to as drones—are fast becoming indispensable in industries from construction and agriculture to filming, logistics, and defence. Advances in sensor technology, autonomous flight, and data analytics enable UAVs to capture critical insights, streamline operations, and revolutionise existing workflows. This comprehensive guide unpacks the pros, cons, and earning potential of contract vs. permanent UAV roles, providing sample scenarios to illustrate real-world take‑home pay. UAV & Drone Jobs for Non‑Technical Professionals: Where Do You Fit In?

Drones Need More Than Joystick Skills From Royal Mail trials on Scottish islands to BT’s drone‑enabled mobile towers, unmanned‑aircraft systems (UAS) are scaling fast across the United Kingdom. Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) data show over 9,200 commercial drone operator permits (OA/PDRA) in force by January 2025—up 34 % year‑on‑year. PwC’s Skies Without Limits 2.0 forecasts that by 2030 drones could deliver £45 billion in UK economic uplift and 650,000 jobs. Yet adverts often focus on remote pilots and aeronautical engineers. The reality? 41 % of drone‑sector vacancies highlight operations, compliance, sales or programme management rather than stick‑time or soldering (UK Drone Industry Barometer 2024). Whether you’re skilled at logistics, regulatory affairs or storytelling, there’s a seat for you in the cockpit—without logging 1,000 flight hours. This guide explains the fastest‑growing non‑coding, non‑pilot roles, the transferable expertise you may already possess, authentic transition stories and a 90‑day plan to launch your UAV career.
