The role

Imagination has built a strong position as a significant supplier of IP technology into mobile handsets, consumer electronics, automotive and into the data centre and desktop markets, and we are looking for an experienced leader to drive continued growth. Reporting to the Vice President of Segment, this is a high profile role where you will have an amazing opportunity to drive the future strategic direction in Imagination as we grow our position across these segments.

We are seeking an experienced leader to drive all aspects of segment strategy. This would include understanding and defining market requirements and needs, identifying new and emerging trends, developing and executing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, close cooperation with sales to win priority accounts, and working with product and R&D teams to ensure products meet the needs of your market. This is an expansive, high profile role, which will include everything from close involvement in closing commercial deals to technical workshops with R&D to drive the product roadmap, and everything in between. 

You will:

Create and lead the development and execution of segment strategy for your area, encompassing all elements from market requirements through to customer acquisition Develop a comprehensive view of the market, including requirements and competitive position, and work closely within product and engineering to ensure our products meet these needs and are positioned for success Develop, in conjunction with sales, finance and product teams, a quantitative model for revenue and market share within your segment Proactively engage with customers, promoting Imagination’s product line-up and seeking to understand roadmap intersection points. Develop winning go to market strategies with sales and business development teams and support closure of key opportunities and design wins worldwide Work closely with product and marketing teams in support of product launch and marketing campaigns Work with a broad range of stakeholders, from the executive management board, to product management, engineering, labs and sales – ensuring the voice and needs of the market are clearly articulated and understood across groups

You'll have:

Experience ideally in a similar product management role, or technical customer facing role, achieving measurable results. Solid technical knowledge of the semiconductors and software industries. Experience developing strategies and business models to enable market share growth Outstanding collaborative and influencing skills, demonstrating a willingness and desire to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. An ability to present and engage people at all levels: customers and engineers, as well as with the executive management team and board of directors Experience working in a fast-paced environment, wearing “multiple hats” and focused on outcomes, rather than outputs or reporting lines Tenacity and a bias for action and drive for results, taking responsibility and holding others accountable for actions, decisions, and goals.

You might also have:

Familiarity with relevant industry requirements and standards Experience in automotive, consumer electronics or datacentre technologies Experience and knowledge of GPU, CPU or AI technologies An awareness of Imagination products, customers, and competitors Experience leading strategy, business development or product teams
