Essential Ingredients  

Experience in a warehouse and logistics environment
Strong working knowledge of SAP, distribution technology tools, and document management systems
Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail
A self-starter who can work independently and prioritise effectively
Confident communicator – persuasive, collaborative, and able to build trusted relationships at all levels
Sound judgement and a pragmatic, common-sense approach
A strong team player with a proactive mindset
Knowledge of Operator Licence compliance requirements
Ideally Operator Licence Awareness trained – training can be provided for the right candidate  

The Recipe  

The Transport Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that vehicle maintenance is meticulously planned and executed in accordance with the Transport Operations Manual and Operator Licence requirements. This includes managing daily defect reporting and working closely with service providers to ensure timely resolutions. The role involves maintaining accurate, up-to-date records and documentation, leading daily calls with service providers, and escalating any service risks to the site leadership team. Additionally, the coordinator is tasked with allocating vehicles to routes and primary trips to ensure availability, supporting health and safety compliance across the transport function, and handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
